Join Us for The Seasons of Advent and Christmas

We will be observing and celebrating this thoughtful and meaningful time of the liturgical church year with hybrid worship services. You may join us on Zoom or attend our in-person worship services.

Zoom will be available starting at 10am on Sunday mornings. The prelude begins at 10:15am, followed by worship at 10:30am. If you are not already on our Zoom email link, you may request be adding by leaving a message at faithpcrp@sonic.net.

We will be lighting the Advent candles each week using passages from the Hebrew Scriptures. We will be highlighting an Advent hymn each week, exploring the images and symbols contained in the hymns, and how they might speak to us today.

We will also be collecting food donations for our local food pantry. You may bring your items to church on Sunday morning.

We will be offering a longest-night service on December 19 th at 6pm. This service will primarily be conducted on Zoom, but you are welcome to also join us in the sanctuary. The longest night service helps to acknowledge that this time of the year reminds of what and who we have lost, and that God holds us in the midst of all of life.

We celebrate Christmas Eve on December 23 rd so that families can be together on Christmas Eve. We call it our “Christmas Eve Eve Service.” It begins at 6:30 and is family-friendly.

About Us

Welcome to the website for Faith Presbyterian Church in Rohnert Park. Faith is the oldest established church in Rohnert Park, dating back to the early 1960's at the time of the founding of the city.

Faith is a part of the nationwide denomination, the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America. The PCUSA is grounded in reformed theology with an emphasis on the sovereignty and freedom of God; the reconciling and redeeming work of God in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; and the inclusive and empowering presence of the Holy Spirit who assists us in sharing the good news of God's love and grace to our neighborhood, and who invites us to work for God's peace and justice in the world. Faith's worship services are thoughtful, contemplative, and inclusive. We take seriously God's Word to us, and seek to pay attention to the ways God works in our lives and in the world to bring more life to all. We offer Sunday school to children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old.

Faith has an active Presbyterian Women's group that meets monthly for bible study and fellowship. This group helps fund local and world mission projects through regular and special offerings.
